Google losing it's "Gloss"...?


A recent algorithm update is changing how Google ranks ecommerce shopping pages - and some people are finding it is for the worst...

In the Search Engine Optimisation (seo) world a fundamental change to Google means lots for those companies that are investing in SEO to get regular consistent traffic to their web sites.

This latest change seems to penalise product item pages on your web site that have few inbound links and even fewer out bound links.

The answer seems to be to have a more sophisticated shopping cart system - which typically means a more complex and more expensive one.

A product page that has links to manufactures web sites, links to reviews and or links to other similar products would be the ideal things to have.
